Major fire erupts at PG hostel in Delhi's Mukherjee Nagar; some girls trapped

A massive fire broke out in a girls' PG hostel situated in the Mukherjee Nagar area of Delhi. A total of 12 fire tenders have been dispatched to the scene to control the blaze.
As per initial reports, some girls who reside in the PG hostel are believed to be trapped in the building. The exact number of people trapped is yet to be confirmed.
“A total of 12 fire tenders have been rushed to the site. Some girls are trapped in the building,” said Atul Garg, Director of the Delhi Fire Service.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined. Authorities have cordoned off the area, and efforts are being made to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby structures.
